It was super quiet and the house just made a cracking noise with the latest gust.
Our builder lives two doors down and is totally nuts. Like the type to wrestle an alligator. He wanted to stay but I think the wife won and they bailed. My next door neighbor is riding it out and we helped him put his shutters up yesterday. Coming from LA, I had never seen hurricane shutters.
