Can someone show a prediction model form like 7 days ago, then 3 days ago, then now?

A model prediction 7 days out is pretty useless, but here is the Euro from Tuesday morning around 1AM.
Think that's impressive? Here's the Euro from before this thread was even started by rds dc, back on August 31st.

Nah, I genuinely don't think that.

I just hate that any opinion stated that isn't on a nhc report gets crucified on here. I just don't agree that's good policy.
I really don't think that's the case, but I could be wrong. When people keep asking about it going into the GOM, it is quite obvious they're implying it is a threat to areas west of Florida. They may not intentionally be spreading that fear, but it happens, and derails the thread discussing possibilities that are infinitesimal at this point.
Perhaps we should stop sharing the models after 120 hours. Perhaps the NHC should get rid of the line. I'm not sure what the answer is, but it is obvious many people don't understand what seems like a simple graphic with an appropriate margin for error.

Way to move the goalposts. You're making an arse of yourself so go back to the rant and suck Miles' dick some more.
I think moving goalposts is exactly why he's arguing the cone brother. He's trying to put more stock into models that predicted actual or eventual landfall 5-7 days out, not a fuzzy cone covering the entire east coast that gets adjusted from real time guidance.

People are having a really tough time understanding cone predictions

You really are making yourself look like an arse.

Wow, Irma is going up one side of the Florida peninsula instead of the other one! Those meteorologists are just clueless amirite?!

Problem is, those comments are based on t-boy's understand of meteorology. It's barely even Holiday Inn Express level.....

By having a different opinion than you? Many of y'all are a bunch of rabid dogs pouncing on anything you don't agree with. At least slack is being reasonable.

slack I know for fact there was one hurricane (Gustav maybe) that there was a "pro/I know what I'm talking about" guy thread and a "bs" thread. Can y'all get Chicken to do that?? It'd eliminate headaches for you, RDS, bay, Duke, Pedro, GeauxMedic etc (Hadn't even seen Bay post lately -- I guess he got tired of the BS; heck even GeauxMedic hasn't really been around.

UF just sent out an Email adding Tuesday to it's list of closed days. Somebody must think there is going to be an infrastructure hit.

That's a big deal. Not sure how you don't think that changes the game?

So now it's an opinion? A few post ago you said you were stating facts.
Which is it?

We need to get out of the weeds here and note there's still a very serious situation evolving here.
Desipte the weakening from Cuba, the core of Irma is still closed off and mostly in tact. So once she moves away from Cuba there is no reason to think she won't be getting stronger as she runs up toward Florida.
So while the great weather debate continues, folks on the west side of Florida shouldn't get complacent because she's weakened today.
