Grady is such an attention whore. Focus should be on keeping people safe, not using resources to try and arrest people during a potential disaster
That's insane

Obviously, you're in the car, but can you tell any of the gas situation, if any gas stations still had it? Some are wanting to leave Ft. Myers now.
I posted earlier, maybe around 2 or 3:00pm CDT, a friend of mine from Cape Coral was running errands this afternoon and I asked about fuel availability. He said he'd had no problem. Some stations were closed, but many were open with minimal lines. He specifically mentioned a Racetrack around Lehigh Acres.
You might try the gasbuddy app, but he made it sound like gas wasn't a big problem in the Ft Myers area. What happens further up the road, I can't say.

I wish it would shift a lot west. Does Irma speak Spanish?

I can't decide who here is joking about freaking out over a westward movement that's been forecast for a few days now.

A lot of businesses in the Bay Area didn't get that memo because I know several people that had to work today.

Grady said he will arrest you. Anyone with a warrant that shows up at a shelter is going to jail.

Yeah, I can't even figure out why some are arguing here and what the point is now.
It started a little west a earlier in the week. Went east. Now back west. All within reason and we know that more than three days from landfall is pretty difficult to predict.
Seems that the forecasters and the people in the know in this thread have done a damn good job so far.

The track they are showing right now is exactly where it was showing Monday and Tuesday earlier this week.

Looks like this bitch is heading right towards Key West where my stubborn brother is sitting and waiting

While we've been bickering over whether folks in Missouri or Illinois should consider evacuating, Irma is starting to strengthen again. Pressure was down to 924mb and she's looking better organized around the core:
