It's picking up on the really warm gulf stream waters imo. I'm not sure of the number, but it's been consistent as hell showing intensification into landfall.

The model that's had the worst verification score out of the CMC, UKMet and Euro?

The CMC has been worse farther out, but it's hard to argue with the Euro/UKMet/NHC camp.

Meh, so many agencies from a day ago had it going all east coast, so much so that South Carolina orders evacuations YESTERDAY

Even had Carolina girl in here earlier taking about it hitting SC because of the models.

You know there is a reason it's called the cone of uncertainty and not the line of certainty right?

It's still within the NHCs error bounds.

Wait a fricking second. When you're arguing about how far west it's going, you're literally talking about the movement in the state of Florida?

No way you're serious

What's amazing is the main bar you can see is still in tact. Just missing the cover.

Hopefully they're open next summer and I can bring them a new LSU flag.

Cantore will probably be broadcasting from Mobile while Jeff is in Miami. Cantore has lost his balls

The latest models have it going into east and middle of Tennessee.

Models. Five days plus out. The uncertainty at that range makes the exact placement by the models suspect at best. If it gets consistent, the NHC will shift the path accordingly. They've been pretty much on the money all day and are excellent in the time frame of it hitting Florida. Bank on them and not the models.
