So, all of these folks are leaving as mandated. So, what will the thugs do?

My inlaws were robbed when they left the gulf coast when a hurricane came many years ago. They came back home to trees in the yard and the house ransacked by thieves.

I think this is a big reason some folks don't leave.

Is the eye replacement cycle currently happening the reason for slight increase in pressure?

Yeah, Irma's been "struggling" with this replacement cycle for the past 24 or so hours.

It never works that way. It's like the good Samraitan to pull over to help the old lady on the side of the road with a flat tire and the drunk runs over and kills both of them, and walks away.

Got some friends right on the coast in Miami who are refusing to leave. This thing is a beast.

Irma has now been a Category 5 Hurricane for 72 straight hours and counting which is the longest continuous period of Cat 5 strength ever recorded in the Atlantic.

I think we see an eye replacement cycle sooner rather than later. Looking at the models, I think she threads the needle north of Cuba and hits Florida as a larger cat 4, with landfall about 30 miles south east of Marco Island. Just my $.02

You talking about Provo Turk and Caicos? What did you see. I was looking at property there online last night. B

Yes. The eye passed south of them. It's still going to be bad, but it could be worse.

Maybe 429 to Apopka - 441 to Wildwood then 301 all the way to 10. That's a long drive but that's the back roads.
