Hurricane Ida: Storm Reports

You got rainfall or wind data, share it here.

You know of specific damage to a location, share it here. I will try to aggregate it in this post (read: Rummy I got a job for you) to keep it kind of organized.

All the data we can gather will be shared with the NWS office in Slidell.

Appears to be going due north on radar now. LP and EBR might be spared after all.

Last time I went to the Galleria it looked like NO East was there, too…I think that’s just the clientele now.

Yep.

There’s a reason all high end watch retailers have a stout security presence. Panerai was extremely selective on letting people in.

From what I've seen on video.

Lafourche Parish Water Works lost their roof with quite a few workers and family inside seeking shelter.

Lady Of The Sea, heavy damage.

Basically LA1 is getting wrecked.

I have family in Lafourche parish and am hearing lots of reports of roof leaks, and downed power lines and trees. My brother and sister came to my house in St Landry parish thank God. They recently lost communication with people that stayed in Houma and Raceland.

Baton Rouge, Scenic Highway, wind out of the NE, swirling, blustery, rain picking up

I am in Covington. Wind is switching between due north and SE. It is weird. Not bad thus far but picked up a bit over the last hour. Still have power.

ETA: pretty drunk.

Battle of Bands was today in the galleria area in Houston. On top of the evacuees.
