Unlikely, sea-surface temps will not be as favorable as it gains latitude.
1)gulf stream
2)sst's are warm enough up to obx for tropical weather

Most people are living paycheck to paycheck barely making ends meet. How the frick are these people supposed to just up and leave for 2-3 days and pay for gas, hotel, food, etc?
The Bahamians should have just done like those posters would have done: load up the Suburban with Jaeden and Brayden and roll out on the highway to higher ground on Abaco.

You can see degradation in the western eyewall, indicating some weakening. the Hurricane Hunters have also noted an exposed western eyewall.

I'm not saying they aren't supportive of tropical cyclones. I just don't think they are going to be favorable enough for rapid strengthening like we say before it hit the Bahamas.

Any chance it just keeps ramping down and goes away completely before any landfall upper east coast?

Good news. Any chance of strengthening again?
There's a short term window as Dorian pulls north, as it'll pass on the gulf stream and should have the outflow to support some modest increase in strength. The Euro/GFS show some modest strengthening in the next 18 hours.
Big picture, doesn't change much. Some hints of another ERC could be trying to get going. Struggling with interference with Grand Bahama in terms of friction and probably sucked enough heat out of the surrounding water to slow down the inner core.
The bigger Dorian gets though, the lower the max winds with the wider spread of hurricane force winds. So we increase the impacts for the east coast if Dorian does another replacement.

I wouldn't think there would be that rapid of a ramping down. I would still expect it to remain a hurricane as it passes Georgia and the Carolinas, I just don't know what strength.
Like Duke said, even with weakening, Dorian will increase in size, meaning the spread of hurricane force winds actually get wider, even if they aren't as strong.

Your drunk Dorian, go home

It’s like wobbling in a circle. Hopefully it weakens it more.
That trough needs to get here and get it off the Bahamas.

Many probably did. In some of the pictures and video of the aftermath there are plenty of cars moving around. Some spots on abaco are 50+ feet, not many, but enough where they could all evacuate to.

Just curious, have you ever been through a hurricane?
Ever had to pack your shite, secure your property and evacuate?
Ever lost everything you own due to a hurricane?
Ever decided to stay and ride out a CAT 2/3 or higher?
I have a feeling the answer is no to everyone of those questions.
You forgot to add:
Ever come back home after a mandatory evacuation only to find your house has been burglarized?
Ever wait in line for 30 minutes just to get gas , so you can go 5 mph on the interstate leaving town?
Ever had to go live with a relative for months while your house is being rebuilt?

Did she say nobody wants them and they cost a shite ton of money?

Please tell me one of you found that shite head posting earlier and kicked him in the nuts.

Just once, I'd like to see them drop a nice, large drone in the center of one of these, and let the drone hover there and provide live, satellite up link video from right in the middle until the drone's batteries die.
I bet you could get some really cool video of the inner eye wall rotation, and look down below to the ground from in the center in a 360 degree rotation.

If I'm not mistaken someone did this with a recent storm. Not a long duration recording, but it was a good video.

Have you?
I can honestly answer no to all 3 of your questions and I’ve probably been through more hurricanes than you and that Buckeye guy combined.
