I was just looking at Google maps on Abaco and they have an airport. It is called Leonard M. Thompson International Airport, and appears to have a runway that is about 5500 ft. long. Priority, after food, should be clearing that runway off. It will be their lifeline.

I’m doubting it, but has there been any videos or live feeds out of the Bahamas since the eye has been sitting on top of them? Sorry in advance that i didn’t go back 10 pages to look.

That's not really how the cone works, but those areas should be spared the brunt of the storm nonetheless.
Remember the cone is just historical errors. It has nothing to do with the confidneoor lack thereof in a particular storm forecast.

There's a few reports from people with Sat phones. It's basically total devistation based on what's getting out from the Abaco Islands. Not really going to know much until we get get relief supplies and services onto the islands.
Eastern portion of grand Bahama is going to be the same. Now waiting to see how Freeport comes out with the center creeping toward it.
