One cell provider is still working according to reports. Majority of island residents have other provider that’s been out since 11:00 am yesterday.

Wow, they closed access to I95 from I26 in SC. Any north-south travelers are going to have a tough day today.

What's the reasoning behind this?

I understand that but what's the point of stopping cars going from I-26 to I-95

I know this is trivial, but have there been any birds in the eye spotted on radar? Michael had them last year and others had them before. I've always found it interesting how they ride out the storm in the eye.

At what point if the northern turn doesn’t start should my folks in Lakeland, FL be concerned?

I doubt Lakeland gets much. Keep this thread in mind if they get in a bind. I am fairly close to there and am quite resourceful, and resilient. I monitor this thread enough to make my wife wonder WTF is wrong with me.

SC government is incompetent. The state hwy that runs parallel to I-26 does have open access to I-95. Makes no sense.

Most of the exits off the interstate are closed too.

I know I'm bitching a lot about this, and I'm sorry. But damn.

Abacos devastation imagery won’t be available for a few days but heard all of the marinas are totally wiped out and it looks like a nuclear bomb went off.

Expect it to look like this or worse
