Got to be nerve-racking just a slight west jog could bring this monster into the coast of Florida.

I try not to look at the actual satellite image but thats a monster moving closer and closer. Its kinda like when they say a bear charges just to play dead. Well i kinda feel like the bear is dorian and the person is the southeast coast. You want to believe that this will save you but in the back of your mind your thinking this could go bad real quick

Duke Energy has released at least 1500 lineman to leave Florida.
I’m guessing they are confident there will be no power outages.

How wide is the hurricane, and how much does a 50 mile jog to the west effect Florida? The past 2 storm we have had have jogged east and west and really helped out North Florida.

Unfortunately, #Dorian has intensified substantially overnight as it approaches the Abaco Islands (pop: 17,000). Estimated pressure from first recon pass is 925mb, and max winds may be at least 160 mph now. The storm does not appear to be able to avoid the island at this point.

I don’t think any of them are crazy enough to head to the Bahamas.

8:17 am. Gusts getting scary in Marsh Harbour. I feel like a rocket is about to take off. Bandwidth down to almost nothing, so this is possibly the last you'll hear from me for a long while. This is gonna get ugly. #DORIAN #Bahamas
