Piss off Cosmo clown.

Deeprig I appreciate your work here. Only worthless schmucks have time to sift through 5K post threads.

Actually, that's just the After. That's where I'm getting the After screen grabs.

I'm providing the Before and After in this thread.

There is an option you can select to turn off the post-Michael imagery and the before imagery pops up.

These make me never want to buy a wood built beach property. Most things steel and concrete seem to have fared pretty well at this point outside of some roof damage.

The older wood beach houses were pretty much all destroyed completely.

There were quite a few older concrete block one story homes and dwellings in Mexico beach. Hard to tell from these images, but it appears that many of them may have been swept away with the storm surge?

Where's that dumbass who was looking for verification that a Category 4 storm did in fact cause damage similar to Katrina? Welp, here you go.

Pretty amazing that all of the new construction is still standing and the old stuff is wiped off the map.

Also, last pic, did that new constuction shield the houses behind it from the affects of the wind thus saving them? Unreal.

The cleanup industry is about to make a fortune. It's just amazing seeing entire neighborhoods blown/washed away.

All those pics are on the coast. The beachfront. Although horrible, it's what you would expect.

Killer seafood is just gone.

How much would it suck to be searching the satellite images for your beach house.

The headlines all say unimaginable damage but this is what most people should imagine the coastal damage to be with a storm like this.

Friend of ours parents went home to Buras after Katrina -- he found a plaque that was from when he was inducted into the sportswriters hall of fame (I think that's what it was) and her mom found a tea cup. That's it. So sad to have everything washed away.

So does it just fall apart or get washed up on land OR is the likelihood that houses/pieces are floating in the Gulf??
