In case you are looking for a new opportunity. Between the new plant and area suppliers, 4,000 people are needed.

I'm torn. Economic expansion and jobs are fantastic, of course, but we are in a very poor situation re: infrastructural capacity. Poor Brownsferry Road is going to be a gigantic clusterfrick.

Suburban sprawl is a huge problem for Huntsville and will need to be addressed in a big way. 72 is just a nightmare and the suburbs in any direction take longer to get to than they need to

I avoid 72 at all costs. When I have to use it, I take as many side roads as I can.

Eventually, expansion will take place to the north and south of 31. Of course, no one will have made the necessary preparations. Then we get to have two overly congested major highways.

what a terrible problem to have.

its nice to see a state where growth and industry is encouraged outside of oil and gas. LA politicians would be waiting there with there envelopes in hand to get their cut

Toyota owns 5% of Mazda. Toyota is using Mazda's internal combustion and holistic engineering called Skyactiv and Mazda gets access to Toyotas hybrid and electric technology in the partnership.

I grew up in Decatur and have the itch to move back to the area. I loved it there. My family moved away from Priceville a few years ago. Has the traffic really gotten that bad?

Mazda sales may be slowly coming around in the U.S. market. They sell like hot cakes in Australia.

What’s the average salary of plant workers in automotive compared to chemical plants? I would guess automotive work pays less, but is much more steady.

31 runs north/south? If you meant 565, there's just not much room between the interstate and the river.

I grew up in Athens. 72 gets worse every year. And 565 isn't too terrible, but if you're commuting to the Arsenal in the morning...ugh.

Best to live on the northeast side of Huntsville if you have to make that drive. It sucks coming from the Limestone county/Decatur area.

As long as you get to RSA before 0700 it's ok.
