Hunt Correctional- 64 prisoners only one guard (female) story does not end well

Ambeau accompanied the guard to the hospital, where a rape kit was administered. He said the guard, who has worked at the prison for eight months, was the only prison official working in a cell block with 64 inmates.
Dehart, 29, arrived at the prison Jan. 21, 2020, according to prison records. He is serving a 30-year sentence for armed robbery out of Terrebonne Parish and a five-year sentence for simple burglary out of Lafourche Parish, according to Department of Corrections spokesman Ken Pastorick.
Pastorick said the sentences are being served consecutively.

I have a friend that works in a corrections facility, he said the influx of women officers are daunting. He also said that it’s literally when not if they’ll be raped.

I agree — and I wouldn’t want to do some of what they do. My husband and I have both said we don’t want each other’s jobs!! He’s a rice farmer and when I’ve been gone for a few days when the kids were younger, he said he definitely didn’t want my momma job and I replied with I definitely didn’t want his farming job!!

Sounds fishy. There may be more to the story about why no one had her back that will come out.
