Years ago I received 6 boxes, 25lbs each, full of MREs. A month supply of meals each. Was addressed to me…my name, my address, everything. I called the company who sent them…they had no record of any type of transaction from my name or address. Checked my credit card and bank accounts…nothing ever charged to my account.
The company requested that I ship them back, which I had no problem doing if they would send me a return label because I wasn’t paying to ship 150lbs of boxes back to California. They refused, said it was my responsibility to pay for return if I didn’t want to keep my order. So I just kept them. I sampled some for shits and gigs. Kids ate some of the crackers, cakes, drink packets...the stuff that didn’t suck. Donated some to a local school around social studies fair time when some kids I knew were doing a project on the life of soldiers in the field. Had an entire classroom have an MRE party after their presentation

If you sell something on Amazon as a third party, you have to provide a US address to ship their returns to. This car seat cover manufacturer picked this lady’s address as their address to ship their returns to. So anytime a customer was sending back their ill fitting seat covers to this company, Amazon gave the customer a shipping label to this lady’s house, and the package ended up on her doorstep instead of back at the Amazon warehouse.

Company in China was required to list a US address, so they just picked a random address in California.
That address just happened to be this lady's house.
Car seats come from China and don't fit.
When customer mails them back for a refund, they get sent to this lady's house.
