frick yeah, someone on this board actually identified the age group of Millennials correctly!

Yep, the average "millennial" is now in their early 30's, the range is 24-39 years old.

Of course it's just a marketing term, along with Gen X and Z. The only official cohort ever named by the census bureau are baby boomers.

such as high cholesterol / and more older people taking statins

Docs still love to push those statins that put you on a drug for LIFE while multiple studies are showing that cholesterol levels are a natural occurrence based on genetics and don't necessarily correlate to cardiovascular health. And let us not forget the newer studies showing a correlation between long-term statin use and cognitive disabilities in old age.

I find it interesting that the article points to so many external factors to watch out for, but doesn't address a key factor and that is stress. In today's nonstop environment, between work, family life, and the picture perfect world of social media, stress is at an all time high.

Anxiety, Stress and Depression at all time highs

These cohorts are so artificially contrived. Someone born in 1947 to a returning vet has little in common with omeone born in 1962 to parents who grew up in the fifties.

I am not surprised. Have you seen the line at a Chick-fil-A at noon on a weekday?

depends

if someone's LDL is like 200 and have multiple co-morbidities, yeah they should.

if someone's LDL is like 120 and they have well controlled diabetes and they just need to lay off the daily bacon? Nah, up to them
