re: How’s the area around the Toyota Center in Houston?

I like the Hilton, Marriott, etc. by the Toyota Center. All nice. Relatively safe. I would NOT stay by NRG, but Med Center area is a little better. Galleria area is fine.

Biggest issue in HTX right now seems to be robberies where people don't cooperate...including one a while back after a concert downtown. Quick on the trigger, body slam, pistol whip, etc. here in Houston.
