I was never in the workforce when there wasn't internet so I don't know. It must have been tough to try to have to look busy.

bullshite, tell jokes, frick with each other. We used to gamble on all kinds of dumb shite like who could make the most consecutive shots of wadded paper into the trash, who could stick the most pencils in the ceiling. Sometimes we'd just hang out outside to smoke and throw rocks at random things (we'd gamble on that also).

Games on the computer. Even if Solitaire was removed you could usualy load up a floppy drive with some arcade games and shite.

I was an Intertn at the DOTD accounting department summer of 96. A permanent employee by me would print out copies of the Advocate Crossword Puzzle and put it on everyone's desk when she got to the office in the mornings, including the dept manager's desk.
gotta Love state jobs.


We took breaks and shot the shite outside with the smokers. Read magazines. Lots of people brought books to work especially the ladies.

So this is how you boomers fricked this country up and now it is left to us to save your candy asses
