Yep, friend was mauled and never really saw it until he was attacked. Guy he was with had to shoot it but my bud was injured pretty badly.

I was raised by witches.
Unfortunately the tale of the tape favors them in reach. Add the tremendous paw with edward scissorhands……..I’m afraid they gonna slap your head off before you can reach it’s snout. Maybe not completely off, but not hanging on by much
Please.

I’m using a polearm. You can keep the bear at a distance and do slashing and stabbing attacks

It all depends on the particular bear and what it’s motive is. All bears are not alike. Your best chance is up a tree. If you are on the ground your chance of surviving a serious attack are about the same as a healthy person dying of Covid. Long term, make a bow/arrow and shoot at the eyes…from the tree when the bear is eyeing you. There is a reason that great respect was given to the warriors who wore a bear claw necklace.

They failed. You should know spells and shite. No need for weapons.

Go find the audio of the last few minutes of Grizzly Man’s life and imagine what awaits. He and his girlfriend actually. Ate them for a late lunch.

Without a decent caliber rifle you are going to be bear food sooner than later.

You will die with the sword. I’d say almost 0% chance of survival. Gun is obvious answer but if no gun allowed then I’d go with a bad arse heavy duty flame thrower. Prob wouldn’t kill it Bc I doubt it gets close enough with a big arse flame coming at him. But I think it’s best chances to stay alive with out a gun.

I didn't say any of that.
Edward was dead at 16.

Octopus ..Before the first knife thrust .... you would be dead meat. A few bites then covered for the next days meal.
Your 22 would like throwing rocks at a Grizzly under full attack mode.
A Moose would cut you to ribbons because you have no idea what to look for before an attack.
If you are lucky, playing dead and not moving is the only chance. You'll get bitten maybe have a leg broken, but stay still. You might survive.
Learn to climb a tree Obiwan, it's your only hope.
Fishing Alaska on isolated lakes, dropped off by a guide with a water landing plane. There is a simple code. When a Grizzly appears on the other side of the lake.....you keep on the exact opposite side of the lake until he/she gives up and looks for something else to eat.

My post got hacked 2 threads ago, and I was told that witches were watching my posts.
Is this normal for LSU threads?

Blows my mind that a lot of attack survivors say that the first notice they had was hearing the bear breathing. Scary as all hell

I’d imagine that scene in The Revenant isn’t too off the real thing. I’m herewith declaring the grizzly bear just under human beings on the most dangerous animal hierarchy.

Since you’re referring to your gun, how often have you needed it while carrying it around everywhere?

I would try to bait and poison the grizzly given sufficient time, otherwise it’s a tree and wait it out.

They're incredibly stealthy for big guys.
