How would you make this poker ruling?

I was out of town last week and was killing some time by playing some cards(no limit holdem). This incident came up. The pot was around 800.
On the river, player A bets 200. Player B thinks about it and then finally makes the call. Player A turns up his hand. Player B looks at them and say "nice hand". Player B folds his cards face down. Player A then says to the dealer "I want to see his hand". Dealer did his thing and then turns player B's cards face up. Apparently, player B misread his hand and actually had the winning hand. So a now we have a big argument between the 2 players. Other players were chiming in also. The manager was called over and was told of the situation.
So who gets the pot?

Player B folded. Player A wins

Player B mucked his hand. The hand is over. The dealer shouldn’t and can’t show a mucked hand.
Player A wins, dealer gets fired.
Player A wins, dealer gets fired.

player b folded..so player a wins the pot..pretty simple

2 things on this one. Once played B mucks face down, the dealer cannot show his mucked cards without explicit permission of player B.
Two, the instant he mucked his cards he lost.

I don’t go to the boat to play so my games are small friendly freeze outs that aren’t too serious. But I want to say I’ve heard that if you ask to see a hand and have the right to, and it’s a winner, then you lose. But I could be totally wrong.

Know when to hold'em
Know when to fold'em

The dealer messed up. Player B "called player A to see his hand". Player A has to show. Player B does not. The dealer should not have turned over player B's cards. Also, as others have said, player B folded, the hand is over and player A win.
ETA : because the casino dealer messed up, the pit boss should give both players 800 bucks to make it easy, $800 is not that much money for casino, but that's just my Opinion

Player B folded. Player A wins pot, but does not have the right to see B’s cards. Dealer should be reprimanded.
Casino should give B a freebie for the screwup.

Player A gets the pot. Player B folded/mucked. It's his problem he's a dullard.

Actually, Player B was awarded the pot. Had anyone else besides player A requested to see Player B's hand, player A would've won. Normally, when someone request to see a player's hand, the dealer kills the hand and then flips them over. However, if the player who "won" the hand requested to see the other players hand, the dealer does not kill the hand before flipping them over. Therefore the hand is still live.
It's some kind of etiquette rule that suppose to make players act like gentlemen. It's a notion that you're rubbing into the losing player's face if the winning player wants to see the loser's cards face up. I guess you learn something new every day.

Player B needs to learn what beats what, then this wouldn't have happened...

He's lying
This didn't happen because EVERY poker dealer knows better and every other player at the table would have also said no way. AND, why would player A ask to see a losers hand? If that's the case, player A would have asked to see everyone's losing hand. Just a lie, this kid got smoked
This guy is player B and he's a dumb frick because he allowed his cards to be shown and realized he's too stupid to know he had a winner
