It is a movie from 1985 starting Richard Pryor and John Candy.

Brewster is challenged to spend $30 million within 30 days to inherit $300 million.

$30 million is about $68 million now.

After 30 days, he may not own any assets that are not already his, and he must get value for the services of anyone he hires. He may donate only 5% to charity and lose 5% by gambling, and he may not waste the money by purchasing and destroying valuable items. Finally, he is not allowed to tell anyone.

I think even the best of us would die on spending that much on hookers and blow.

That would void the charity rule.

Maybe loophole it and sell each ticket for one penny.

Create an annoying series of PSAs on tv, radio, and billboards teaching people what is considered trashy, based off posts on the OT.

Is the stock market considered gambling?

I would start there.

Then buy some 3rd world countries currency with half the money, the other half fund a coup so the currency completely devalues.

no, but you can't end 30 days with any assets or any of the 68 million

Lawrence: What would you do?

Peter: You mean other than 2 chicks at the same time?

Lawrence: Well...yeah.

Destroy is a biased term. For all I and they know I am bringing peace and prosperity to a poverty stricken region.

So if I buy a famous piece of art for millions and it accidently burns up in a terrible car accident, that counts?
