How will this wind impact crawfish prices?

Nobody does more bitching than farmers!

You bet, wind creating whitecap waves in the ponds, more oxygen in the water which will alter crawfish patterns.

Catch is down —- price yesterday at the wholesaler we sell to was 3.25 in the am. Husband called to tell her that he didn’t have any to bring to her and she told him that the price had gone up to $4. Too bad we didn’t have any.

Not saying the wind caused it just stating what prices we’re working with here in our area.

And the farmer isn’t getting that I can assure you. Not by any means complaining just stating facts.
