No. You can take anything from Scripture and twist it out of context to your own destruction as St. Petter says in his letters. Don’t go down that road.

We won't ever learn the identity of the shooter. If it is discovered, the CIA will dispatch him with great haste before he can be questioned about his resources.

Good or bad, we're all God's children. One life doesn't carry more value than another.

I would think that we are called for His divine purpose. Some are noted for their exemplary services to Him on this earth while others just watch the world go by and making not even a ripple on the waters.

Then there are others who have an evil mindset. Are they less valuable? If not, in God's eyes, where did Judas Iscariot fit in?

Am I a bad Christian for not feeling this way?

We're all bad Christians. It's a difficult time. But fear not if you trust in the lord. Go about our work dutifully and in peace, of living the life Christ and those like Charlie lived to make a better world around us.

the better question is why did god let this happen?

God gave us free will to do as we will. Along with that are consequences for your choices. The rest is up to you, all I can say is choose wisely

Exactly. Some will sacrifice their afterlife for temporary satisfaction here on Earth. Such shortsightedness only damns themselves.

Right so we’re just supposed to turn the other cheek while Marxists take over our country and kill and injure without remorse.
frick that Christianity does not mean to be a pussy. Time to push back if we want to keep our country founded on Christian principles

but why? If God does miracles or can answer prayers, then why does God just let these things happen?

Life on Earth is just a short time, and full of trouble.

God doesn't see life on Earth as "the prize", life everlasting is the end goal.

Charlie Kirk dying and going to Heaven isn't a bad thing, from God's point of view.

I printed this quote out and pasted it in my Daily Missal - I try to read it each week at Mass.

Not going to lie, some days are harder than others. But every day we have a choice to make: to follow Him, or not to.

Cardinal John Henry Newman: The Mission of My Life

God has created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another. I have my mission. I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught. I shall do good; I shall do His work. I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth in my own place, while not intending it if I do but keep His commandments. Therefore, I will trust Him, whatever I am, I can never be thrown away. If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve Him, in perplexity, my perplexity may serve Him. If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve Him. He does nothing in vain. He knows what He is about. He may take away my friends. He may throw me among strangers. He may make me feel desolate, make my spirits sink, hide my future from me. Still, He knows what He is about.

This has nothing to do with what I said. Take your anger and rage elsewhere.

Whoever did this should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, even if it means the death penalty. Christian principles do not prohibit true justice. You can love someone and still bring them to justice and make them face the consequences of their actions. Love is equal parts mercy and justice.

It has to be true justice though. Revenge is something entirely different and is not consistent with Christian principles. You may not take revenge against someone to satisfy your own pride and hatred. That has nothing to do with true justice.
