I've heard Tulane is the toughest law school in the deep South. So don't go there unless you are up for a real challenge.

Yep.
How tough is it though? It depends on the school and whether you want to make law review, finish in the top 10%, etc. I graduated from LSU Law back in the 80s and I found it to be pretty easy, but I was always good at taking tests and I finished in the middle of my class.

i know 2 people with law degrees. They are married to each other, one finished in top 1% of her class.
And neither practice law. Both run a photography business, they go each time it is time to renew their license and get that. But neither practice law.

Law school isn't tough if you just want to coast and get a degree. Once you learn how to play the game, it's not much tougher than undergrad. First year will blow for everyone, though.
If you want to do well, law school will be a soul drain. Oh, and you couldn't pay me $ to work a full time job and go to law school for four years.
