It appears to be better than any of the other alternatives. The "mutual friend" connections give validity to a person's profile.

It’s simple: FaceTime or Zoom. There’s no excuse getting catfished in the 2010s and beyond. I understand maybe 5-10 phone calls, but after that you should see the person’s face directly communicating with you.
