How to repair a faded boat?

I have a 2008 Cobalt run about that is fading on the sides. It sits in a slip at my dock on Lake Guntersville pretty much year round. I have an open sided boat dock so it’s exposed to the sun on one side and the back.
I send it to the dealer every few years to have it serviced and to store it for winter. They have buffed it twice to restore the color already but it’s faded again and they told me I’m out of clearcoat to buff.
Any ideas what I can do besides have a new gelcoat put on?

I'm surprised a boat of that quality faded so quick. Start keeping it covered when docked or enclose your boat dock. It will be worth the money

Seems to me that you could get someone to apply some more clearcoat...

Seems like the simplest way to get rid of the problem is to advertise that the boat is for sale, then accept money in exchange for the boat.

It’s always covered but the side is what fades. The interior and hull are white but the side is navy blue with a yellow stripe at the bottom. It surprised me that it faded so quickly too.

Know how I know you have no idea what you’re talking about? I’ll tell you what- go to Cobalt’s website and click “build your boat” then go thru the steps to build a R5 then post a screenshot of the price. If it’s less than 100k I’ll self ban

Clear coat or gel coat? Gel coat on fiberglass boats is usually good for more than a couple of buffings. Get a second opinion.

If ur out of gel coat the it needs to be wet sanded and new gel coat applied,
