Girlfriend broke up with me and I feel like my life is over. She was a virgin when we met and agreed with all of my crazy political views. I will likely never find somebody like her again. Now she is gone and I feel no motivation in life. Probably going to drop my classes for the semester and try to prepare myself for next semester. I can hardly even leave my bed

If you rely on others for happiness, you’ll never truly be happy.

Stay busy with something. Anything. Life is all about enjoying the little things. Join a club, take on a new hobby, hang out with friends. Just don't sit in your room alone. That's the worst thing you can do when your depressed

You need to understand your actions are your choice. It’s a very hard thing to learn. By being depressed and dropping classes and not moving forward, you’re giving her all the power over your life. Remember it’s your life. Sure it sucks and it’s super hard, but in the end, your actions and reactions are 100% your choice

There's a lot that I could say about the original post, having gone through the same feelings in the past, but this basically sums it up.
You should learn to be happy with yourself before entering in another relationship. Otherwise, you're in it for the wrong reasons and the related pressures will doom it to fail.
It's easier said than done, I know.
