Gym. The gym has been a life saver for me. My gf left me in October after 3.5 years together and i relieved my anxiety and sadness in the gym. When my mother unexpectedly passed away on Christmas Day, I went to the gym and lifted and ran, daily. It’s saved me so much emotional pain that it’s hard to explain. Also, my friends have been amazing people to lean on. New and old, they’re always willing to listen. Just a couple of suggestions. The pain takes time to go away but it eventually fades.

Late forties with kids. shite was just a wild during the 1980s if not more so. Kids were smoking and drinking and fricking every weekend and it was not a secret. We could get into bars at 15 and cute girls would get into uptown NOLA bars at 14. Despite all of that I still found numerous girls who had only been with one or two guys by the time they were twenty.
