I'm super frustrated. I waste way too much time every day at work trying to explain stuff to coworkers only for them to ignore what I'm saying and jump to conclusions whether right or wrong.

I've tried to be as humble as I possibly can be and Ive tested the ends of patience. I'm probably annoying about it but when you can't fricking work without their answer, I don't know what to do.

Being a good coworker who uses fingers first helps too.

Get a candy jar. Give coworkers pieces of candy when they do what you want. Works great.

sounds to me like you are that one guy in the office who thinks he knows everything....or at least, that is the way you are being perceived by your coworkers...or at least, that is the way they perceive you.

I don't know the answer as to how to fix this, but remember, you are not going to change them....the only one that you have the power to change is yourself.

I was told something by my boss yesterday and told to approach two sources. I pm them in the morning explaining the situation to them. No answer even though i know for a fact they saw it. I wait till later in the day when they don't appear busy. They acted confused and told me other coworkers were responsible. I began speaking to one of those other coworkers before I had to go into a meeting. Later on, I ask another coworker. He passes me to the previous coworker who was confused but trying to be helpful. One of the original coworkers overheard a part of the explanation this blew up and started goin on "fine, I'll fricking help you because I'm sick of you asking people but just so you know, I'm too busy for this"
