Difference is that Wendell would not go on TV. I knew him, he hated the TV lawyers.

Laws will be passed preventing them.

Laws already give them indemnity for almost anything. Stand in line first if you dare

So you are anticipating the vaccine will be less than safe
Yes, they are. But most people on here who think this way know very little of vaccine development and safety and are either just making shite up or are parroting Fox News talking heads who are paid to say things that people on the right tend to find pleasing to the ear.
The only likely effect people will experience from covid vaccines will be a 90% less chance of catching covid, much like all of our other proven, safe vaccines that we've developed.

In 1976, scientists predicted a pandemic of a new strain of influenza called swine flu. More than 40 years later, some historians call it "flu epidemic that never was."
"President Ford was basically told by his advisers, that look, we have a pandemic flu coming called swine flu that may be as bad as Spanish flu," said Michael Kinch, a professor of radiation oncology in the school of medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. His latest book, "Between Hope and Fear," explores the history of vaccines.
quote:
"Ford was being cajoled to put forward a vaccine that was hastily put together. When you have a brand new strain situation like that, they had to do it on the fly," Kinch said.
Ford made the decision to make the immunization compulsory.
The government launched the program in about seven months and 40 million people got vaccinated against swine flu, according to the CDC. That vaccination campaign was later linked to cases of a neurological disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome, which can develop after an infection or, rarely, after vaccination with a live vaccine.
There are plenty more cases out there.

This doesn't prove anything.
Our vaccine hasn't been "rushed". Phase 3 trials have been completed.
You can get Guillain-Barre from COVID, also.
The role of vaccines isn't to be risk-free. It's to prevent infection while being far less risky than the disease being vaccinated against, which is the case for all of the mainstream vaccines that Americans are injected with everyday, as well as the new COVID vaccine.

So, as someone who isn't a Republican, I've definitely seen more people fear mongering over "Trump's Vaccine" than anything else.
