Somehow, getting a dog, moving away, or building those kids a basketball court in some area of his neighborhood (wtf) is the OTs way of dealing with this.

that sucks. its never fun being in a position to piss off ur neighbors (especially when ur wife and kids are there sometimes when you are away and cant protect them).
but boys in a group can be damn relentless in pursuing girls, especially if she has been trying to be polite to them. put up a fence so she can go outside n play with the dog in the backyard if she doesnt wanna be locked inside all the time

I think most white dads don't have a problem with their kids being friends with non thug black kids. But I think what lingers in the back of all our minds is what if your daughter gets too comfortable with black kids early on, then starts dating and possibly marrying one.

THIS! Used to live in Happywoods in Hammond. We moved out and about 15 years later went by and OMFG! It went to hood rat ville. B-ball goals in the street every other house, litter scattered everywhere and vehicles all in the yards. Leaving there was the best thing my family ever did.

I'm going to assume your little girl is pretty cute. Older boys always think they can take advantage of younger girls.
Nowadays with kids learning about sex at earlier ages than ever before I'd say you should be on your toes. Especially since they're black.. having no respect for authority and probably dreaming of white girls.
I've been in a situation similar to yours and let me tell you it got pretty frustrating. I still wouldn't be okay with it even if they were white, but them being black definitely doesn't help. What you do have going for you is that she doesn't like them either (or so she says)
