Man, that's some deep stuff there.

You don't have to share the same views, but have some respect for your wife and help the kid in this troubled time. I will be completely honest, I could handle something like that now a lot different than I would have at 17. It would have probably absolutely crushed me.

If you are 100% serious about this do you, your wife and her son a favor and leave. You are worthless.

shite, as young as I can remember. My dad, grandpa, and great grandpa were all horseracing fanatics. So, dad had me studying the form as soon as I could read.

I started playing football cards when I was in 3rd grade...Only $1 bet though and probably picked about 10 teams.

i don't know exactly when it started but we would bet on things all the time growing up, even if it was just for an icee. I genuinely enjoy gamblingbut I have enough self control to not risk anything I can't afford to lose. It can certainly get dangerous for some people.

The strange kid from down the street wasn't allowed to hang out with us anymore because his mom thought it was a sin. Of course they also wouldn't celebrate Halloween and did lots of other strange stuff too.

Was his name Cody?

I started playing those “football cards” in late middle school. Got a bookie in college and never really looked back. Switched to online about 10 years ago.

My dad set up an online account on a website called Easybets, and he and I would bet football games every weekend starting when I was 9. It was a great way to learn about point spreads, odds, etc. Also was a good way to teach me to be a responsible gambler because we made it a competition every week about who won the most bets and/or money.

Bourree', 5 card poker, blackjack, etc. for change when I was 10 or so. My best friend was a couple of years older than me and he was the youngest of 5 brothers so we played with them a lot.

People who play cards, outside of occasional blackjack at a casino, are the trashiest kinda of people
