How old were you when you first got married?

Did things turn out well or did you end up regretting it? What would your advice be to a young person in their twenties who is looking to settle down but hasn’t met anyone worth settling down with yet?
Should I just not worry about it too much and just enjoy life until the right person comes along, or should I take a more proactive approach? Thanks in advance

I got married at 28. I'm still married 15 years later so I guess it worked out OK. I wouldn't rush into anything.

I think 30 is the perfect age to get married
Just enjoy your twenties. You have the rest of your life to be with your spouse

Yep. I think people change a lot more from 22 to 30 than from 30 to 40.

Wait til youre 30.. I tell this to younger ppl all the time.I got married when i was 24, it didnt work out and I realized all the things i missed out on. Dont be in a rush to get married, it will happen when youre ready. Dont let a man/woman ultimatum you into getting married either.

My advice is don't put so much pressure on yourself. Enjoy your youth and don't take things so seriously for now.

32. It was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Never married but my future wife probably hasn't been born yet. So at least 18 years from now when I'm in my 40's.

I would recommend that you travel, see the world. Experience new things and do all you ever wanted to do while you can. Once you get married its not just you anymore, you become a team and sometimes the other side of the team will hold you back from doing things.

Married at 29, been married for 21 years now. There's no correct formula, though. A good friend of mine married his high school gf when they were both 18. They've been married for over 30 years.

21. Married 17 years. Last 5 years were a disaster and only stayed for the kids. Bad decision. Enjoy life in your 20s. Don’t even think about it until around 30.
Note: I committed the cardinal sin of marrying the hot but crazy girl. Don’t do it.
