24, 1993.

Paid 83,900 for a 1279 square foot house that was perfect for us. Think it was 7% interest. Note was maybe $620/650ish.

30. Had a trailer before that, though. It's not a home if you can tow it to a friend's house so you don't have to drive home after the football game.

24. 1988. A 2-bedroom bungalow built in 1924 on the East Side of Fort Worth. It was a very well redone charming little house in a decent neighborhood.

Price was $42,500. I didn't sleep for a week before the closing.

First time was at 27 in 1993. $45k for a 2B/1Ba garden home. Sold it 7 years later for 75k.

About 30…been married for 1 year.

I still don’t get how single young adults think it’s unfair that they can’t afford a house. I didn’t know anyone that bought a house when they were single except one dude with family money. Dual income and some help with the down payment is how we got our first home.
