How old was your kid when they first went to Disney?

Friends of mine are taking their 2 year old and 11 month old to Disney World in a few weeks. They (the parents) are super excited about it. Do kids get anything out of Disney World at that age? It just seems young to me, but I don't have kids.

My daughter was 2 and my son was 1. My daughter has asked us every week for the last 5 months to go back. And, she can tell you everything we did while we were there.

2 years old.

There is plenty for them to do at that age.

best thing is to go in the morning, go back for a long nap, then back in the evening...you push them too much...theyre gonna freak the frick out

Same method we used.
We regretfully tried pushing them all day one of the days while we were there.

We brought 3 kids: 1 1/2, 3, & 5 yrs old.

1 1/2 yr. old - Just recognizes Disney characters more now.

3 & 5 yr. olds - Ask to go back at least twice a month. They remember everything.

Mine was 2 going on 3, and always asks to go back. Plus, under 3 and their admission is free.

We're thinking about taking our little boy next year. He just turned 4. I'm kinda concerned about the number of things he'll be too short or too scared to ride.

A couple of months old, maybe.

But then again, we go weekly.
