My little Paxton is only 3 months old but I have him signed up for a hitting coach next week, he'll be hitting dingers in no time.

If you start training them before age 2 then dedicate your life and retirement to personal 1 one 1 coaching your child may get a partial scholarship to LSU Eunice

My dude is 6 and catches a football and volleyball pretty well. Haven’t tried to put a glove on him yet.

My little girl turned 2 back in June and she has just begun to catch a kickball that bounces in front of her or is gently tossed underhand. She's always been an athletic baby compared to her peers, but I have no idea how she compares with this specifically.
Looking down the road, I'm looking at swimming or lacrosse, maybe tennis or soccer.

All depends on the kid. My son has fantastic hand eye coordination and has been routinely catching since about 2.5-3. His older sister can’t catch for shite but I think it’s because she’d much rather do cartwheels and handstands and anything related to gymnastics and cheerleading.
Basically, it just depends.

I remember when I wanted my first child to play baseball. I'm so glad I'm not that person anymore. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting your kids to be ballers. I think it's great for everyone else.

My 7 year old still has trouble as well. He’ll catch one from 15 yards away then miss 5+ ones from 10 feet in a row. They have to REALLY want to do it a lot.

I feel like it just happens. There is no coaching it into them. Kinda like babies and sitting up, crawling, walking milestones.
My kid couldnt catch anything at 5. I tried all kinds of things to try and improve it. Nothing.
The next year, at 6, he just could. No practice between. Nothing. It went from couldnt to could.
I coached a few tee ball teams at the local REC. Same thing. They go from not being able to to being able to on their own at their own speed.

All the Braxton, Paxton, Aidan, Jayden, and Cayden travel ball jokes are completely overused and unfunny
When did the OT stop taking pride in being original?
And as far as catching goes, it’s just one of those things they have to do for awhile before they are comfortable and good with it. Even the best ball players (6 year olds) struggle with catching with a glove at this age
