They won’t if you take one shitty photo for the craigslist ad and put no effort into selling it. My last TV I bought on Black Friday for around $150, relisted it for $200 a year later, and sold it for $175 to some lady looking for a TV for her dad’s nursing home room. She thought it was a great deal lol. It’s called being a winner.
took advantage of am old person who doesn't know any better...

About every 10-15 years. Still rocking a 60" Vizio LCD in the living room. I see no reason to replace it.
Same here. Got a 65" Samsung in living room.
And a 36" widescreen Proscan HDTV Tube TV in my home office. It was in our bedroom until a month or so ago. Mainly because... geez that thing is heavy and we don't watch all that much TV in there anyways.

I just recently helped my bud get a deal on a new TV. If you know what you’re doing, every year you should be able to sell your old TV and buy a new one with hardly any loss, if not a profit.

not really. noticed a reduction in weight.
Isn't that the truth. I had an old Sony 32 inch big arse TV in the bedroom that died about 2 years ago and I like to broke my back getting it downstairs and to the street.
The one we bought to replace it was carried up tucked under one arm and it was a 42 inch. I do like the new TV's for that feature.
My 46 inch HDTV in the den died 3 years ago and it did so all of a sudden. For what it would have cost to repair by a shop, it was more practical to just buy a new one. Got a 48 inch HDTV to replace it. Put the 46 downstairs and decided to open it up one day and saw a part that was obviously fried, ordered it on-line, installed the part and it's been working ever since. It is in my man cave now and doing fine. Win/Win

My current cycle is every year the Saints play in the Superbowl.
Wow, only 2 tv's since the mid 60's. The one you had and the one bought after their SB win.

I just bought a new one 3 weeks ago. The one I replaced was purchased in January 2008.

I could’ve got $200 from her. She was thrilled with the $25 discount. I made her day. When’s the last time you did something nice like that?

I bought a 55’ tv about 6 years ago. Have traded up for bigger and better and now have 2 wall mounted smart TVs, 50” and 65”. All I had to buy was the wall mounts.

Have a Samsung 55" plasma from 2009 with the red tint piano finish. Best picture I've ever seen. My son has a 4K and it doesn't hold a candle even on true 4K shows/movies. The colors on that plasma are deep as shite. I will run that thing into the ground
