The BBC posted the earlier story (last month?) of the Texas mother who shot the carjacker in the head. If you recall, her small child was in the car that the guy was trying to steal.
A lot of the comments were criticizing the mother because they felt that she responded with a "disproportionate response" and how she would be charged with a crime in the UK. It was a great example of the cultural divide between the US and the UK.
