how much should I pay for a new 6' tall wood privacy fence, installed?

Any ideas? I've googled and the answered are extremely widely varied. I don't feel like contacting someone for a quote and being bugged and pressured by a salesman just yet. Just trying to budget for down the road. I'm looking at about 300 linear feet with two single gates. What say the OT?

$10-12 a LF installed

$15/ft for pressure treated pine basic 6' fence.

Wood fences are trashy. Hire some mexicans to build a wall with stones.

It's one of the biggest rip offs in human history and 1 of the easiest DIY projects out there.

2 single gates, about 300 lf. standard cheap wood, I guess. However I don't want it to start warping and falling apart like the Home Depot special I installed about 10 years ago.

I just put in a little over 300' of cedar fence, metal posts, trimmed w' 2x6 on the top, my cost was just under $20/', I hired a laborer and did most of the work myself

You can do pressure treated pine, and whether you do it yourself or have a fence company - make sure you have 3 horizontal 2x4's not just 2 like some people do. That will add to your cost but fence will not warp.
