Kind of a side not, but buy a 20 dollar code scanner off amazon. My check engine light has came on 2 times the past year and I used my code scanner to get the code. Type the code into google for my truck and usually someone already has a YouTube video on how to correct it. Has probably saved me hundreds

He has a manual transmission.

I just did a 100K maintenance on my vehicle. Changed all filters (engine, fuel, cabin), plugs, inspect belts & hoses, inspect coolant, inspect MT fluid.

Not true in Hondas. The way to keep a Honda running is to change the transmission fluid out about every 75,000 miles or so. They have transmissions made to change the fluid out like that.

I have to change my DTML pump so I may see if the fuel filter is close enough to lump the labor charges. Right now it seems plugs and coils along with the pump will be it. I'll see if they'll do the diff and trans fluid.

I've replaced the belt and tensioner, cooling components, and the leaking gaskets.

I'm partially through replacing all of the exterior rubber, have light gaskets on order.

Gas cap on order as well.

It's a miracle my cars drive at all. Oil changes, and that's about it until belts squeal and tires are bald. Luckily I've chosen some tough vehicles.

Quick walk around after off-roading in my ford. If I haven't broke anything offroad it's good to go

2009 Colorado with 96k, just did: plugs, belt and tensioner, idler pully, diff fluid, Trans fluid at 55k, front brakes and hubs, front lower control arm bushings. Need to do my rear brakes soon and u joints. Everything myself but my trucks been lowered 4/5 on 20s (current) and lifted 7" on 35s (previously) at different times in its life so I go through suspension parts and brakes quick.

"Replacing a water pump isn't preventive maintenance".

It is on a Chevy.

Not on my four chevy's. I'm sitting in one typing this with 280,000 miles. Gas burning 2500 with regular oil change and tire rotation only.

You should replace your windshield every 6 months even if nothing is wrong with it.

Depends on the vehicle.

Many imports need timing belt and water pump at 90-100k.

Expensive to skip those services on those vehicles.

What does your owners manual say?

a fluid change and a flush are not the same. Honda recommends a drain and fill not a machine flush

I did the water pump on my sequoia along with the timing belt at 100k miles. Old sequoia, not the new model. I think they recommend every 80k miles
