225 total for house and guest house (3 AC’s). I keep the air around 75-76. After looking at other posts, I guess I’m not doing too badly. I think all this rain has helped a lot.

Close to $200 a month. Average billing is the only way that's possible in the summer though. 72 during the day and 68 at night.

We normally put it at 74 when we are away, but we haven't really been away since February.

Plus we are running lots more electronics, loads of laundry, and loads of dishes with me, wife, and two kids at home.

I hate being hot. Toured a home the other day with a screen patio that is air conditioned. Dreaming about it ever since.

Ask me how I know the inside of your house looks like shite.

My childhood friend growing up lived in a house where they kept it 78+ and they weren’t necessarily “dirty” but it was an old house with never-updated carpet/wallpaper/etc. Now that I see your post, I bet the smell it had is due to the temperature.

This thread helps me remember why we went from a 4 br house to a 2 br house when the kids moved away. I literally never have to give my bills a thought. We don't even bother with levelized billing anymore. Winter is $30ish and summer is $90 at most. House is 73 during the day and 68 at night.
