77 degrees when I'm away
72 when I'm at home

92 year old house isn't super efficient even though I've dumped $$$$ into it.

$285 this month because it's been hot as frick.

Energy guidelines can kiss my arse, I'm not going to be uncomfortable.

It's well worth hundreds extra to sleep curled up in a giant comforter in my arctic cave.

$109, 77 during the day (there's nobody at our house from 8 to 3) and we have it programmable so that it gets to 69 while we sleep.

Oh, that's a nice subtle brag right there.

Just putting the units and temps like everyone was doing. The brag would be that they are all newer units, before on the 25 yr old ones it would get up into to the 800’s July - Sept. Highest was something like 1800, but that was bc of the extra NG from running on generator after Gustav.

These newer units are more efficient but they do pretty much run all day.

I bet at least 200 of mine every month is the damn electric clothes dryer.

I regularly had $400-$500 summer electric bills when I was in South Georgia... My bill last month here in Spokane was $160. 20 year younger house that's 300 sq ft larger here compared to Georgia

Ya know, now that I think about it, I don't think my A/C's shut off in at least a month, literally. Is that bad?
