If you want it last-minute, you're gonna have to pay the "I need it now tax".
Given you're leaving MCO, you'll have more options than a smaller airport but regular charter rates won't necessarily apply to a last minute booking, especially if they have to reposition the plane for you.

I don't know how to search for these things on google. What can I expect, if needed in the future?
If you convince NetJets that you are close to buying a card or fractional ownership you could probably get it for their going rate, which would probably be about $40K for an 8 seater like a Longtitude (and that’s one way). But don’t try that at the last minute; they won’t fall for it. You would need to get in their potential client database by enquiring about a multi-hour buy well ahead of time.

You could do a phenom 300 for around 4k per hour.
I got $4500 in 2023. I’d guess it’s considerably more now. $4,000 was the hourly rate with no fuel charge.

At minimum you’re looking at $5k-$10k for 4 people.

Our Phenom 100 is roughly $3000 an hour, but that’s planned ahead. I’d imagine 50% more for rushed service.

Beech Kingair is a good ride and would save you money.
