I have a bit more free time than she does, I do everything outside the house and all of my own laundry and the dishes if she cooks. She does all of the grocery shopping, most of the cooking, the floors, dusting, the bathrooms, most of the remaining laundry, etc. I did the kids school clothes when they were young because I can iron like a full-bred Chinaman.

I took care of all the sports-related equipment and uniforms too. And the practice transportation and away games. And the dancing and music lessons transportation.....

If there was a balance due on my account, I always paid my account off full and with high interest in the bedroom.

That's a compliment...right?

And for the record, I don't do shite outside either. No yard, no taking out trash. Why the hell get married and have kids if you gotta do all that shite?

I would think a man helping his SO clean would benefit their relationship by having more time to be "together"

I do the dishes and the lawn. I do the dishes because I can't take the madness that is her throwing dishes in the dishwasher all fricked up. I do the yard, because I'm a man

I'll sweep randomly because I like clean floors and have a white dog

OR you could hire someone to do that shite and give you both more time.

I do damn near everything, because I like shite done right. She's a great cook, though, but then so am I.

I am home more than my wife so I do the majority of it to be honest.

I don't mind, I find it easier, because I don't like the way she does most of it anyway.

She does offer to cut the grass but I will never let her near my yard.

As a rule it leads to less:

Although women say they want these things out of their partners... they reward partners who follow through with less sex.

I hate these threads because I've had epic rants on here about how my wife is a shite house keeper. Me and the boy take care of everything outside. Garbage and pets also. Her skills suck arse and her and the daughter suck at all things neat. I'm OCD so it drives me up a fricking wall. Most of our good fights are about this. I do 75% of the grocery shopping because I enjoy it and actually get shite we need. I wash and dry clothes but refuse to fold. Daughter does dishes. She sweeps and mops and straightens up in the way a 10 year old would. She works but damn put some effort into the nice house I put you in.

I vaccum, sweep and mop at least once a month. I do all my own laundry and sometimes the daughter and hers. Empty and fill the dishwasher as needed. Clean up the daughter's room and play room when needed.

I don't do toilets, windows, dust and shite but I told the wife to hire a cleaning person for that, but would rather do it herself.

When it comes to outside, she does the garden and frequently mows the lawn while I weed eat, edge, blow, etc. But, if she doesn't have time, then I'll do the whole yard.

I take care of the kitchen and help pick up. Besides that, I've got 4 acres with dogs, chickens, rabbits, and Rocky the turtle to see about. Little jjb, only 3 yrs old, does his best to help with feeding and tending to the garden.

We usually split...

I wash she folds and puts away..
I cook, she does the dishes..
I cut the grass and do the garbage, she does the books and bills..(but I go behind her to make sure it's right)

Have a cleaning coordinator, being pc here, that does floors, beds, polish furniture, bathrooms.

In the kitchen - the one that doesn't cook cleans up the kitchen. It's about a 50/50 split. Doing laundry it's about 60/40 her.

Outside - 99/1 on me.

I've got the skills to pay the bills. I didn't develop those so that I could waste time with housework. I take care of things like changing light bulbs and other stuff that is too high off the ground for the rest of my household. A kid in our neighborhood started a landscaping business, so his crew takes care of the outside, but I am fully capable of handling that if need be.
