Some of y’all don’t actually go on vacations with these $3,500 claims.

Vacations used to cost 3-5k, but that was 10 years ago. Easily 8-10 now

We just did a 5 night Disney cruise for less than $6k for a family of 4. If you can't vacation for less than $8k, you have a major spending problem.

We are on the parade route and have air fare for me and the wife 3 kids and mother in law who lives with us. Factor in meals, tourist attractions and I’m sure my wife will want to shop a lot too. shite gets expensive quick

Ah, yeah, that makes sense for sure

2023 rented 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house on DI. Gulf front, super nice. It was right at $1k/night. Food and bevs for 8 adults and 2 toddlers on top of that, maybe another $1k. Split per couple that isn't too bad, but good ol' Pops (me) foots the bill.

You can vacation for less than 8k in most of the US and in Caribbean vacations. I just choose to pay for family that can’t afford to like my mom and sister and we stay at nicer hotels and resorts.

I’m just not worried about budget on vacation

Yea I can easily do it for my family of 6, but it won’t be as nice as I like and I can afford it so why not?

I don’t wanna share a condo with other families, I don’t wanna eat in every night. I wanna enjoy myself and relax

I could vacation for less than 8k but I choose not to. It’s only a problem if you can’t afford it.

Our vacation budget is absolutely out of control this year. I told my wife that this will never happen again.

My "vacations" are in the pasture behind my house munching on the winter grass we planted. When you have horses, there's never a day off from feeding and feed bills, grooming, vet bills, farrier bills, fencing repair, etc.

3k for a beach trip, cool. 5k, excessive. 6k for a family trip, cool. 8k, major spending problem.

Must be nice to have such perfect taste.

Yet he cant help himself. He honestly believes he is some kind of trust fund royalty.

If he werent tethered to someone elses money, that dude would be working as a bank teller.

We save 15,000.00 per year for vacations. What we don't use goes into investments. There were a couple of times we have gone over that.

you call it a "spending problem" is anyone goes over your perceived budget

if someone doesn't want to cook every night on vacation, does that mean they have a spending problem? or they just vacation differently than you?
