I can't imagine living like that. That sounds awful. It takes 1 minute a month to pay it off. I can spare 12 minutes a year for $150

Another zero reporting for duty. I'd guess there ar fewer than 10 times in 32 yrs of marriage we've paid less than the full amount

Diff strokes for diff folks I suppose. I am not hard wired to give a shite about meaningless stuff, I classify all household bills as damn near meaningless.

The only reason I use a card is to be convenient and not transfer money from money market to checking. That way I can pour it into investment accts at a pretty good clip without disrupting for things that pop up. if I carry a little balance for a bit I don't care. I settle up about once a year

Doubt when people claim zero credit card debt. Complain when people back it up with a screenshot.

Can't please everyone I guess.

looked it up, currently $870. But I'll pay that off by July.

I don't like cc debt. Just really trying to build points up.

I'm not included in that statistic. Credit Card debt is trashy.

I was always told you should carry 2-10% at least as that helps your credit score. IDK.

debit cards are good for getting money out of the ATM.
But yeah, no security on them at all.

Lol, I have zero idea what I owe. We open about one statement a year and pay it off. Sometimes we have a credit balance sometimes we owe 2-3k. Ain't no body got time for using s card then paying it off, some have said they do that shite on the same day! At the end of a year I bet I don't pay em 150 dollars in fees. It is worth it to me to not worry about it at all. We have auto pay for a certain amount each month, I think it is 1500.

this is one of the dumbest things I have ever read on here

I've realized that, but was always taught to not spend it if you don't have it, which is why I never had a credit card.

Fast forward to February and I signed up for Chase Sapphire to get rewards points. Spending habits haven't changed (which is not a good thing because I already spend too much), but it makes sense to get rewards for all the money I blow through.

So far I have been paying the balance in full every month. Once I close on a house, and end up buying appliances and other "necessities", on top of normal spending, I'm pretty sure I'll have a nice chunk that I will be working to pay off.

$0.

I only plan to put up cc debt if I'm unemployed for an extended period of time, or am stranded in a foreign country.

For those that say cc's are dumb. They're only dumb if you're dumb enough to spend more than you can pay off each month. Why anyone would ever pay with cash/debit card when you could be spending that same money while getting free flights or other perks is beyond me.
