How many places have you lived in your life time?

Just saw a commercial saying the average American moves 11 times in their life time.
I thought that was high until I actually added up places I have lived. Granted two of them was when I was a baby and I don’t remember living there, but I have lived in 19 different places. I didn’t realize it was that high. These have all been the in BR area except 6 months I lived in Atlanta. (And New Orleans as a baby)

I’m 33 and have lived in 10 different “homes.” About to be 11 come August.

4 cities so far.
8 different houses/apts.
Current age: 30

Now in another state.
Scruffy will likely move again in the near future, possibly FL.

I've seen that commercial and wondered the same thing. I guess they are counting apartment hopping in the same city etc. I've still probably moved under 11 times.

I'll be 35 next month and I've already lived in 10 places. Half of those were in the New Orleans metro area, the rest were out of state.

Lived in 11 different towns/cities. Multiple moves within some of those places. I am 43.

Not that many as an adult, but I moved almost every semester in college, so that skews it a bit.
I've lived in 6 homes as an adult out of college and I am 50, but only 2 the last 20 years.
