I'm a wanna-be pilot. Had a mid-life crisis and started taking flying lessons as a hobby. I'd always been an av-geek and flown r/c. The midlife crisis hit harder and decided I wanted to fly professionally after an early retirement so I started flying more. Unfortunately, while still a student pilot, I realized getting my medical was going to be difficult. Good thing I kept my day job. Now I dream of building a kitplane and going the LSA route.

Yeah, that equipment is shite, but I was referring to that sweet looking lodge on the water. I could live there a few months.

No I know a lot of people who are though. The grind isn’t for me.

Not a pilot but will be hitting the million miler mark on Delta in a couple months. Figure I have at least 2,200 hours on me for sure.

Commercial MEL, but I don’t fly for a living any more.. well, in the front any way. Now I work in new aircraft deliveries and helping customers design planes to best meet their missions. Once the aviation bug bites, it’s hard to let go

Student pilot in LFT. No lessons yet. Been reading my asa books until I can afford it.
Currently employed in aviation safety and training industry so it gives me my flying fix for now.

No worries, I understand.
That type of flying has always been appealing to me.

Does anyone actually do circling approaches in the 121 world? I know in rotary wing instruments I never had a reason to...
