How many people do you know that are sick or sick with the flu?

I can't believe the numbers I am hearing from my friends and friends of my friends who are sick. It's alarming and kinda scary. I know of 2 close friends who have type A flu (the worst) and have 5 friends who are just sick with coughing, pains and fever.

Kid has the flu
Wife is feeling flu symptoms from the kid and is at after hours right now.
I just have a bad/painful cough that Tussin DM is helping.

I haven't gotten the flu in many many years, though I usually get an awful cold every Christmas. This year I didn't fly and so I didn't get sick.
My goal with the flu is to just stay in my office as much as possible away from the germ carrying cubicles.

I’ve never known this many people to get legit flu. It sucks. I’m safe so far.

I have been bathing in hand sanitizer and wash my hands constantly. I have also been wiping down my phone every day. I am NOT getting the flu this year.

I have some sinus stuff going on, but mine isn’t too bad. My immune system has been a champ, I just have pressure in my one of my ears.
Our A/P clerk has been out since the beginning of the year. Our controller missed a week. Pretty much every one has had something.

My oldest daughter got the flu Christmas Day and got over it pretty quick. Then the day after New Years we both had a stomach bug that lasted about 18 hours. The next day my wife got the flu and didn’t get out of bed for four days. Yesterday my two middle kids got the flu. The only one that hasn’t got sick is the baby. Yet. And I haven’t had the flu. Yet. It’s fricking miserable

I don’t know anyone at the moment with it, but I know of 3 people that have died in the last month from the pneumonia complications that started out as the flu. Really odd

Yes, it comes with a lock too and people won't enter until they announce their presence and I grant entry, but I think the latter is more of a custom and not a symbol of my power.
