My breakdown is 2 pairs of casual work shoes, 2 pairs of dress shoes and about 45 or so pairs of sneakers.

All different colors and models. I could easily get rid of a few, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. I probably wear half of them regularly.

I have one pair of tennis shoes that are a year old

A 6 yr old pair of rubber boots. I clean my shoes and my good work boots if I need to.
I seldom ever buy clothes for myself unless I absolutely need something new.

I would guess around 30-40 pairs. My wife on the other hand at last count had over 400 pairs split between homes. She gives away about 50 pair every spring just so she can reload. I know for a fact some of them were only worn when she tried them on. It sounds capricious but I do it with other things outside of clothing and shoes.
