I remember calling in after finals to check grades. First semester was fall of 97 and was at Sonny’s bbq using their pay phone while waiting on our food. I feel old now lol.

Those transition years were brutal
Especially the girls who would stand pathetically next to the professor in any given class for any given section and grant the sob story of the decade why they HAD to be in that section and PAWS didnt work along with REGGIE

Back in *my day* (cough, couch) we filled in the little bubbles with pencil and checked the bottom carbon copy to make sure it was also marked. And then personally took our copies over to each department to make sure they got it.
And you had to take a paper book with you to pass the time while you stood in line instead of a phone. Reggie and PAWS were a godsend.

This is what we had –
If you wanted a class that you weren't pre-registered for, you had to go wait in long lines to get one of these cards.
